Accessibility Statement

Our commitment We are committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities. We aim to meet accepted accessibility standards and to provide an inclusive user experience.

Standards and guidelines This site is designed to conform as far as reasonably possible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Where full conformance is not achievable immediately, we have implemented progressive improvements and continue to prioritise remedial work.

Ongoing work Accessibility is an ongoing process. We:

  • carry out regular accessibility reviews and usability testing with assistive technologies (including screen readers and keyboard navigation);

  • include accessibility considerations in design, development and content processes;

  • provide training and guidance for content editors on writing accessible content (clear language, semantic structure, descriptive links and properly formatted tables);

  • regularly update code, plugins and third‑party tools to reduce accessibility issues.

Known issues Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet meet all accessibility standards. Examples of issues we are aware of include:

  • older PDFs and downloadable documents that may not be fully accessible;

  • embedded third‑party content or widgets that do not provide full keyboard or screen reader support;

  • occasional colour contrast issues in legacy pages.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier that is not listed here, please let us know so we can investigate and prioritise a fix.

How to request content in an accessible format If you need content from this site in a different format, for example accessible PDF, large print, easy read, audio recording or braille, please contact us and we will aim to provide a suitable alternative within a reasonable timeframe.

Third-party content and links Some content on our site is provided by third parties. While we endeavour to choose accessible providers, we cannot always control the accessibility of third‑party content. If you experience accessibility issues with linked or embedded third‑party resources, please tell us and we will raise the matter with the provider and, where possible, offer an accessible alternative.

Compatibility This site is designed to work with modern browsers and assistive technologies. To get the best possible experience, we recommend using the latest version of your preferred browser and assistive software.

Technical information about this website’s accessibility This site has been built using current web standards (HTML5, CSS3 and semantic markup). Accessibility features implemented include:

  • meaningful headings and semantic structure;

  • ARIA landmarks and attributes used where appropriate;

  • keyboard‑navigable menus and controls;
